The Zephyr Wing. Made to last. And to send ! Whether in freeride for its ease, in waveriding for its lightness or in speed for its rigidity, the Zephyr Wing was designed to be versatile and last over time.
What's new in V2 ?
- reduced leading edge and central slat diameters to save weight but also aerodynamic flow,
- slight increase in the dihedral in order to gain in low range,
- SUP type valves,
- modifying the tensions in the canopy in order to have better pumping in the start-up phases,
- new extra-light sausage attachment system,
- a dacron reinforcement system which stiffens the entire wing and better holds the profile,
- weight of V2 reduced compared to V1,
- 2 possible Dyneema colors (white or black),
- 2 possible CZ colors (white or black).
Its Dyneema® structure ensures exceptional rigidity and durability while remaining very light. The shape has been designed to provide a certain flex on the wing's ears. This allows you to stay focused and continue to accelerate in full gust, without being destabilized and torn off.
The Zephyr Wing is the result of many compromises: we wanted to give it a good low range to take off without difficulty but without sacrificing the high range so that when you are overpowered the wing remains totally manageable.
Its Dyneema® canvas in 34 gr/m2 and CZ-72 gr makes it more resistant than the spinnaker.
Its interchangeable handles allow you to choose between flexible, semi-rigid, 100% rigid or the carbon wishbone !
The Zephyr Wing is sold as standard with 100% rigid handles. However, it is possible to choose a configuration with the carbon wishbone and the 2 inserts in the middle in order to switch to handles or a configuration with the carbon wishbone without the 2 inserts in the middle (boom only).
